Packing Services
The time, skill and effort required to effectively pack up all of your belongings is often underestimated when moving home. Our team are skilled at packing, wrapping and ensuring everything is safely ready for transit to your new home, giving you one less thing to worry about leading up to the big day.
Assembly
Our team can have the correct skills to safely disassemble and reassemble beds, wardrobes, tables and many more items for your move. We can also remove items from walls such as TVs, shelving and mirrors and disconnect your appliances too.

Every home is different so the first step is to contact our helpful and friendly team so we can discuss with you the best way forward for your move and arrange a free no-obligation survey.
The survey
We offer two types of surveys:
- A home visit – This is the option that we would recommend, when possible, as we can assess the volume of your move and access requirements more accurately and provide you the most competitive quote for your move.
- A video survey – Providing a more flexible option when required.
One of our home-moving experts will assess exactly what it is that you would like moving, learn more about your moving situation and discuss with you the various options available.
At this stage we will also explain a bit more about the services we provide, what you can expect from us and we will answer any questions you may have.
We will then tailor a plan to suit your requirements, budget and timetable and provide you wth a fair quote for your move.

Booking your Move
Once you have exchanged contracts and have confirmed a moving day for your move, we just need you to complete and return to us your booking and insurance valuation forms, we will have sent to you, and we will confirm your booking with us.
Please note, we don’t advise booking until exchange of contracts has taken place(if applicable)
Packing & Preparation
We will usually arrive the day before your moving day and discuss with you any items that you need left available to you overnight and for the following day. Our team will then expertly pack everything else, ensuring all boxes are labelled with the correct contents and destination.
We use only high quality packing materials to ensure your belongings remain protected throughout your move. We also have specific packaging for hanging garments and curtains and for larger and more awkward items that are difficult to pack.
We offer a range of packing services to choose from:
- Full Pack – We take care of packing up all of your belongings for your move
- Fragile Pack – We take care of packing all of your fragile items such as china, glass, lamps, vases and any other items that need extra care.
- Individual items – We take care of packing your most invaluable items or those particularly awkward items that require a higher level of skill.
Packing yourself?
If you would prefer to take on the challenge of packing yourself then we can provide you with quality packing materials for your move.
Once booked, we will arrange delivery at a convenient time for you.
Once you have finished with all the boxes we will come and collect them too, free of charge, and get them out of your way.

Moving Day
Preparation
On the day of your move our team will arrive punctually and fully appraised of the agreed moving plan. We will lay floor protectors throughout your property and ensure your home is prepared for moving.
Loading
Our team will then carefully and efficiently move all your belongings in the correct order to ensure they arrive safely and securely at your new home. We use weatherproof covers to ensure your soft furnishings, such as mattresses and settees remain clean, dry and protected throughout the move, no matter what the weather and all other items are individually blanket wrapped. We also use wardrobe cartons for your hanging clothes.
Once all your belongings have been loaded and you are completely happy that we have everything, our team will drive to your new home and await access.
Delivery
Our team will then lay floor protectors, prepare your new home for moving and find out where you would like your furniture to be placed in each room. Our team with carefully and efficiently unload all of your belongings, placing them in the correct room according to your instructions. We will ensure that all the furniture is in the correct place and that your boxes are stacked safely and in a way that will cause the minimum inconvenience for you. When you are completely happy where everything is we will collect our equipment and any packing materials no longer needed and leave you to begin enjoying your new home.
